Itinerary and Inclusions


  • Departing from Launceston and or Evandale pick up
  • A journey through the township of Evandale visiting antique shops and art gallery and a stop to view a tribute to artist John Glover. John Glover Art Prize second weekend in March
  • A guided tour of the 'grandest house in the colony' Clarendon with John Glover and an unsurpassed collection of antiques, pleasure gardens
  • Morning tea at a private specialist perennial garden and a tour with the owner of the special plants and trees throughout the garden
  • Then a private place of worship synonymous with the famous Tasmanian artist John Glover where a gourmet lunch will be enjoyed with a glass of wine.
  • A real treat traveling through the unique country as viewed and painted by John Glover
  • Corra Lyn on the North Esk will be viewed
  • An afternoon garden visit to a fine merino sheep and beef cattle property near Launceston.  The owner will engage you with her story of the garden's history


  • Gourmet lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided
  • Entry to all sites visited including Clarendon Homestead

Transport: Collected, transported to all sites and return to Launceston.

  • Groups: 12 people maximum
  • Time: 9.30 am to 5 pm - 4.30 pm
  • Availability: This tour is not available all year round and must be booked 10 days prior to date of departure
  • Equipment: Please bring your own sun hat, sun cream and or jacket / raincoat
  • Weather: If weather is inclement this tour will continue.
